The ladder extended only 2 ft. above the upper landing on the roof. In no case shall the extension be such that ladder deflection under a load would, by itself, cause the ladder to slip off its support. location: front of house on or about: 2/1/13 a) Employees were using a portable metal extension ladder to access the roof.
