Complaint What Happened Im writing this to you to explain to you what a horrific experience I just had with United Mortgage. It started back in XXXX when the seller accepted mine and my boyfriends offer. We decided to do an FHA loan because needed to do renovations on the house. During this whole process we encountered the mortgage guy stealing from us and not even doing his job and processing our mortgage. Everytime we would ask about it he would said everything is okay or everything is moving along. We later come to find out that he had stolen money from us and nothing was getting done. We had a specific time frame in when things needed to be done. When things didnt start adding up and we kept sending over the same papers that we had already completed, i started to look further into this. Then out of no where they assigned someone else to our file and still nothing was getting done. I found out that our mortgage was fired and no one even told us about that or what was happening with our file. No one in that company helped us at all. We kept getting switched to different people and not one of them helped us or apologized for what was going on. I brought up the money being stolen from us from a pre-aprisel feel that was not even something that we should have paid for. When i brought that to their attention they did nothing about that but just said that was illegal what he did, but nothing was done about it. So the time was coming closer to our closing date And nothing was being processed or taken care of. The seller said that we wouldnt be able to get another extension if they werent able to fix this. I was then devastated bc this hope we wanted so badly and we did everything on our part to make sure this would happen. We then got a phone saying they terminated our deal and we lost the house with no remorse or sympathy for what they just put us through. Also trying to get InTouch with them was another nightmare. We spent {$900.00} for an inspection, {$670.00} for a title search and {$440.00} for a land survey plus paying a lawyer {$500.00} and we didnt even get the house. The amount of incompetence and unprofessionalism we experienced was beyond anything I have ever seen or dealt with in my life. Im writing this because I want someone to hear my story because how we were treated and lied to no one should ever ever have to deal with. I want people to know that this company is by far the worst and people should not be using them if they actually want to get a house.

Complaint What Happened I am working with United Mortgage for more than seven months to get my payment lower, for far the same papers that i have been submitting they are asking for again and this is how its been for the pass seven months.I have fax these papers over and over and to my surprise they keep requesting the same items. Complaint What Happened The United Mortgage Company contact me in XXXX 2016 and I was told by a gentleman by the name of XXXX that they can lower my mortgage payments by {$100.00} per month. At this time I owned my house for almost one year and thought I could use the extra money each month. The incentives were I would not have to pay the new mortgage for 2 months, lowered monthly payments and no closing costs except I would have to pay the loan officer, title company and other incidentals in the amount of {$2100.00}. The closing took place on XXXX XXXX and come to find out they neglected to pay my XXXX taxes for {$3800.00} which have accumulated to over {$4100.00} with late fees and finance charges. When I brought this to the attention of my loan officer XXXX XXXX XXXX he was looking into it but has n't gotten back to me even though I called everyday for a week. I believe they did the wrong thing by me and they need to pay the taxes that were due when they were my mortgage company.

Complaint What Happened My partner and I opted for United Mortgage as our financial institution in order to secure a loan for the acquisition of a new residence. Due to unforseen events, we came to the realization that we would not be unable to financially sustain the ownership of this house. On XX/XX/23, me and my partner received an initial disclosure indicating a cash to be paid at the time of closing amounting to {$130000.00}, along with an estimated monthly mortgage of {$5700.00}. However, on the day of the closing, we were blindsided with an adjusted final disclosure, which stated that our new cash to be paid at the time of closing would increase to {$140000.00}, and our new monthly mortgage would increase to {$7000.00}. The significant disparity between the amounts disclosed on XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 led my friend and me to conclude that we simply did not have the means to afford this property with the additional expenses involved. We think that the property taxes should have been assessed in a way that more precisely represented the expenses and the ability to afford this house from the start of the agreement. The sudden alterations not only caused difficulties for my friend and me but also placed us in a situation where we feel compelled to complete a deal that we can not afford, or else abandon our sales contract and forfeit our {$10000.00} deposit. If these numbers had been revealed to my friend and me in a more prompt fashion, we would not have contemplated purchasing this house. According to the revised figures provided to us regarding the intended date of closure, we do not have the financial means to pay for the mortgage of this house. As a result, it is probable that we will be unable to make our initial mortgage payment and subsequent payments in the future. My friend and I request you to carefully examine the details provided as we suspect that the lender provided inaccurate and deceptive information with the intention of enticing us into this agreement. Thank you.

Complaint What Happened This company lied to me about including my escrow in my mortgage despite verbal consent by the mortgage provider that I was not going to have the mortgage and property taxes included in escrow. When they said they were going to work on resolving the issue, instead they sold my mortgage to another bank with the escrow. Then XXXX said he would refinance me at no charge to remedy the situation, yet, after that, he stopped responding to any calls or attempts to communicate with him. This company is deceitful and misleading, and promises things that they do not hold up.
