29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) Worksite, Totten Place & James Street, Babylon, NY, 11702- Two employees were working on the lower-level roof on a 2-story residential private dwelling and were exposed to being struck in the head by falling materials from the work being done on the roof above. The employees were not wearing any form of head protection; on or about June 7, 2024. The employee was not utilizing a means of fall protection and was exposed to falling approximately 25-feet to the ground below; on or about June 6, 2024. b) Worksite, Totten Place & James Street, Babylon, NY, 11702- Employees on site were installing roof rafters and sheeting on the lower-level roof of a 2-story private residential dwelling.
