Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.: location: butcher shop on or about 1/27/22 a) The flywheel of the Biro meat bandsaw, was not adequately guarded. The metal guard had a 5 inch hole in it. location: butcher shop on or about 1/27/22 b) The start button of the Biro meat bandsaw was not adequately guarded. The metal casing around the recessed start button partially corroded away. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. |
