Crossbraces were used as a means of access. a) On or about 1/25/17, on the Five Guys Addition construction site at 5716 S. Transit Rd., Lockport, NY, where a masonry wall was under construction: An employee was exposed to a potential fall of up to 14 ft. 3 in. while climbing up/down the frame of the tubular welded frame masonry type scaffold to access/exit the second level of the scaffold. There was an extension ladder present that provided a safe access/exit means to/from the ground to first level, but no safe access means was provided from the ground to the second level. NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED |
