29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 07/26/19, at the former Holley High School, located on 1 Wright Street, in Holley, New York, the employer did not utilize fall protection when employees were exposed to falls from an open window, located 21 feet above lower levels. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED The E. Contracting Inc. company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1382159 , citation number 1 , item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/28/19, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Wright Street, Holley, NY 14470. |
