XX/XX/XXXX I financed car from XXXX XXXX with {$15000.00} down. {$5000.00} cash and {$10000.00} in check is what dealership asked me to get and after I drove off lot. My contract was for 3 years with 25 days that could be missed before they can consider repossession and instructions on how to pay and late fees. Every month they sent the same letter that shows my balance and next due date. I never spoke to the lender ( Palisades funding Corp ) until my first ACH payment return which was XX/XX/XXXX and is month XXXX of my contract. My bill due XX/XX/XXXX was paid XX/XX/XXXX through my debit card which is 7 days missed. My bill every month is {$1000.00} and the collection agent didn't want to wait for my bank to increase my daily amount for this day, so she took a {$1000.00} and told me she can take the rest Monday XX/XX/XXXX because they don't operate Saturday and Sunday. In doing this, the agent still gave me an extra 2 days missed for her taking the rest the following Monday because XX/XX/XXXX was a Friday. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX, I told the agent my next payment will be late within my Missed days left so I could pay for my Dads head stone for his grave and pay my car note. So I told her I'll pay my bill on XX/XX/XXXX which is 12 days from my due date XX/XX/XXXX, and me and the agent was understood. XX/XX/XXXX landed on Sunday so she called me the XXXX which was Monday to remind me of the ACH return. I reminded her what we spoke on a month ago on me paying my bill XX/XX/XXXX which would make 7 days + 12 days = 19 days missed, 21 days missed if the extra 2 days counted. However, this Friday XX/XX/XXXX another lady answered with an immediate attitude when I told her my name and she sternly asked me am I ready to pay and I said yes. But I also had questions that she wouldn't answer, so she got arrogant and hung up on me and continued to not answer my phone calls from XXXX to their closing time. I decided to pay XXXX because she wasn't trying to explain a {$30.00} dollar fee she was trying to apply because my contract told me every thing up front what should happen should I be late. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX would not accept my payment without the full account number. Now I just found out they never gave me the full docket number for the account, so this means it's Friday and XXXXlisades Funding Corp is closed and I had to wait until Monday to get full account number to pay bill. So even though I couldn't pay XX/XX/XXXX due to not being given full account. Monday XX/XX/XXXX would make 23 missed days which they were paid at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called them after the payment was made to confirm and It was done. From XXXX to XXXX I spent lunch in my car and went back to work, then got off at XXXX and the car was gone with my phone and other personal items. Finally I called the lender to tell them the car was stolen and a XXXX XXXX confirmed they repoed it due to me not paying. At this point I'm confused and in jeopardy of losing a contract agreement. He called me the following Wednesday ( XXXX XXXX ) telling me I need 3 payment and the repo fee to retrieve car. I asked him how did you guys just take my car and never got a response. Friday XX/XX/XXXX I had the 3 payments and repo fee and then it changed to them needing the full amount. I told him I couldn't do that and then I made a complaint with the New York Attorney General. The following Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX called me saying they felt bad for taking my car so he can accept half of the repo to release the car. I told him it'll take me an hour and he agreed and the payment was made. I called to confirm payment was made and he then said I still have to pay the repo fee is when I stop giving funds. After learning this I started viewing all the documents given to me and noticed some missed days that were falsified.
Notice : Falsified dates XX/XX/XXXX XXXX missed days and the 4 of this month is Saturday XX/XX/XXXX XXXX missed days and the 4 of this month is Saturday XX/XX/XXXX XXXX missed days and the 4 of this month is Sunday XX/XX/XXXX XXXX missed days and the 4 of this month is Sunday.
These dates never existed and this told me they were going to cheat me from the beginning because they explained the reason for taking the car at first. They just kept saying I wouldn't pay and I told her I'm not paying. I was a year away from paying a {$57000.00} dollar car. They also never gave back my personal belongings ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, Car Charge booster, {$84.00} bottle of XXXX and XXXX tools and personal paper work. They finally 3 months later pick up my belongings and all what was left is my laundry and my License plates were gone. Last but not least the car was right back at the dealership I brought it from.

I bought a car from XXXX XXXX with a down payment of {$22000.00} and finance the rest of {$16.00} XXXX the price of the car that I sign for was {$33000.00} for XXXX XXXX with XXXX mile on it z.., the loan payment was XXXX each month.. I been paying the loan for 2 years and 3 months .. which add up to {$28000.00}.. I even have a letter statement from the company that Im finish pay for the car .. for the car which I will provide .. the car company forced and illegally towed my car yesterday.. Im contesting the towed and he pushing me away .. which is illegal because they have use forced .. also I have an active case going on with the loan company which the ignored ..the company also breach consumer code us code 15 -1602 and us code 15 -1622 .. im finish paying for the car but the loan company is doing illegal thing to take my car .. they loan company also violated a number of rule .. the company never gave me any money in hand .. and for a consumer transactions to be valued money must be in hand .. that never happen

I have been trying since they reposes this car 4 months ago to get the License Plate so that I can return it to the DMV and no one can tell me where to collect it I am still paying Insurance on this car that I don't have because I can't return the plate.

I am filing a formal complaint against Palisades Funding Corp for the wrongful repossession of my vehicle. On XX/XX/, my vehicle was repossessed due to Palisades Funding Corps claim that my XXXX XXXX registration was suspended. However, I had already registered the vehicle in XXXX after relocating, with a valid and visibly displayed registration.
Palisades Funding Corp employed misleading tactics, failed to explain why they needed my vehicle keys, and later demanded over XXXX car payments and a co-signer for its return. Such requirements were not outlined in my loan contract.
Moreover, they violated my privacy by sharing my personal and financial information with a third party to facilitate the repossession. This action was taken without my consent and not stipulated in the contract.
To continue commuting to work, I had to incur unexpected expenses due to the wrongful repossession, including {$400.00} in XXXX expenses.
I am requesting : XXXX. The immediate return of my vehicle without a new contract.
XXXX. A complete refund of {$10000.00} for all payments made, including the down payment XXXX expenses to get from work to home ( XXXX ) I have tried to resolve this matter directly with Palisades Funding Corp to no avail. Your intervention is greatly appreciated.

I when to buy a car on XX/XX/2020 at XXXX XXXX In the XXXX New York XXXX made a down payment of {$22000.00} for a used XXXX XXXX. ..the price of the car was {$33000.00}.. I was told I need to finance the rest rest .. the salesman come back with a loan for {$25000.00} palisades fund co . I ask why so much. When I ask why. only have about XXXX left on the car he said after I pay it the rest would go back to the company. So I sign a 2 year deal to pay the balance. After 2 year I receive a paper say thank you for you service my title would be in The mail. I got a call about a week after saying it was a mistake and I still owe on the car. I went on vacation and was late on the payment by 4 days. They towed away my car and force me to pay XXXX to get it back. I need help .. because I believe they have broke some consumer laws
