TO IMPLEMENT THIS WORK, EHS WILL USE EVIDENCE-BASED MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS TRAINING, USING MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID AND QUESTION, PERSUADE, REFER CURRICULA TO RESPOND TO AND EMPLOY DE-ESCALATION TECHNIQUES WITH INDIVIDUALS SHOWING SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF A MENTAL DISORDER. EHS WILL DEVELOP WRITTEN AND ELECTRONIC MATERIALS THAT IDENTIFY LOCAL RESOURCES AND SUPPORTS THAT CAN ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS / SERIOUS EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCES.
