29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Laminate Countertop Area - On and prior to December 10, 2013, for the Countertop Assembly employee using chemicals such as, but not limited to, Slocum Adhesives Product #4054 Adhesive (containing Methylene chloride, toxic) and Slocum Adhesives Product # 21 Thinner (containing Acetone, flammable). b) Laminate Molding Area - On and prior to December 10, 2013, for the Molding Assembly employee using chemicals such as but not limited to, Quality Aerosol Product A5000 High Strength High Temp Contact Adhesive (containing Methylene chloride, toxic). c) Manufacturing Area - On and prior to December 10, 2013 for all manufacturing employees using various chemicals such as but not limited to, Naphtha (toxic and flammable) and Slocum Adhesives Product # 21 Thinner (containing Acetone, flammable). |
