Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) Note: If using these systems was infeasible or created a greater hazard, the employer should develop and implement a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a) Worksite, South side - Employees installing trim on the edge of a residential roof, approximately 18 feet above the ground, with an approximate 8 in 12 pitch roof, did not have fall protection; on or about 09/13/12. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
