SAFE AT HOME WILL ALSO PROVIDE PREVENTION PROGRAMMING AIMED AT ALL YOUTH IN THE SELECTED SCHOOLS, AS WELL AS SCHOOL STAFF AND PARENTS/CAREGIVERS OF THE STUDENTS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO INCREASE AWARENESS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS TO PREVENT INTERPERSONAL VIOLENCE. COLLABORATIONS WILL INCLUDE PARTNERING WITH SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIONS, WESTCHESTER JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES, AND GIBNEY DANCE TO ENHANCE YOUTH LEADERSHIP AND INVOLVE PARENTS/CAREGIVERS MORE ACTIVELY IN VIOLENCE PREVENTION EFFORTS WITHIN THE SCHOOL COMMUNITIES.
