Complaint What Happened New century financial services is subpoenaed me to fill out a questionnaire for the amount of {$1900.00} on a bill I never had and its dated back in XX/XX/XXXX. Tells me if I dont fill it out I am in contempt of court if I dont comply and fill out the info. They said I paid money last year and I never did. I dont even know what this is about. I just got this today XX/XX/XXXX. A lawyer company through XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX issued me a notification along with the Supreme Court of the state of New York county of XXXXXXXX. Does not look legit and the questionnaire is asking a bunch of personal questions such as SSN ( which is already on their file apparently ) and asking for my income and other info. I do not owe this bill.

Complaint What Happened I received a letter from New Century Financial Services a debt collecting agency saying I owed a bill for XXXX in the original amount of XXXX. Then I was sent court papers sayin I owe {$1600.00}. I went to court to rectify the situation it was clarified that the debt was not mines it was settled on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX the motion was withdrawn by the plaintiff. It was a case of identity theft. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received a letter from a marshal that my wages would be garnished in the amount of {$1800.00} for that debt. I contacted the New Century Financial services and faxed over the judgement papers and they have not to stop the garnish.

Complaint What Happened I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX resident. Received this week a lien on my account for {$1000.00} for an amount due to XXXX of {$5600.00} for a XXXX DEBT apparently. I have not had a XXXX account in over XXXX plus years yet they were able to get into my account without a legal document presented to me. This morning XXXX XXXX XXXX put a double lien on my account for {$9800.00}. I had less than {$4000.00} in my account. Now I can not use my banking account as it is blocked and overdrawn for {$9800.00}. I have asked the law firm XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX to provide back up documents and have not heard. They said they had to ask XXXX. They should have had this already if they put a lien on an account. They claim to have had this since XXXX. Even if there is a debt it is way beyond the XXXX XXXX XXXX Statue of Limitation and they refuse to hear this. They simply say pay the debt. I will not pay on something I do not remember. I have no records dating back XXXX plus years. I want my account restored but XXXX XXXX XXXX who says I have to resolve it with the suing law firm. The law firm refused to work with me. I would first like to complain about the credit collection agency that after 20 years want to put this into collection. Company submitting the lien is : New Century Financial Services , Inc . Complaint What Happened I am being sued by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a credit card debt in the amount of {$9000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX in NY XXXX County First District Court. As of today the debt is {$12000.00} with interest. I have no knowledge of this debt. They are representing Creditor ( s ) : ( P ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX New Century Financial Services Inc. I answered their complaint on XX/XX/XXXX asking for debt of ownership and proof of debt. After that, I have not heard anything from them or the court till XX/XX/XXXX then the court asked my income. When I went the court to see all the files in the case folder, I have seen they obtained default judgment against me on XX/XX/XXXX. The reason they could be able to obtain the default judgment is because I was not aware of the hearing so I never showed up to the hearing. I disputed all claims and complaints against me officially by writing an answer by filing with the court on XX/XX/XXXX. Till today I have written 3 more answers/ questions and filed with the court. In all of my responses I have asked them to provide me the debt of ownership, the credit card agreement and debt validation. They could not provide me any tangible proof regarding any of these requests. Yet this court proceeding is still ongoing. I have seen that CFPB fined plaintiff and the creditor for similar reason that I am suffering now. https : //www.consumerfinance.govXXXX I would like to inform you that they are still doing and continuing their unlawful actions. I am ready to accept any help you may offer in this matter.

Complaint What Happened I was not mature enough to make that decision and was sent a credit card I never applied for. I was on XXXX and tried it ( the credit card ) to see if it worked because it came in the mail. It did I have since been in rehab trying to get my life together. I have much better judgement now and pray that I will be released from this debt.
