I rented a car through XXXX while on vacation in California on XXXX XXXX 2022 to XXXX XXXX 2022. Following my trip, the owner of the car claimed false damage that I did not do. The original claim for repairs was {$1300.00}. I then received a supplemental report for further repairs needed in the amount of {$1600.00}. These charges are absolutely unjust. I provided proof that I did not do the damage. The company states the claim stands. I think this is completely unfair and unjust damage reports. I refuse to pay {$3000.00} for something I did not do. I want legal recourse to dispute this.

Yesterday I saw I had a call from XXXX that went straight to XXXX. It was a pre-recorded message from someone claiming to be from FCR Collection Services and to call XXXX. My son also found 3 text messages flagged as spam from them ; 2 of them received within an hour of each other. I've never received any written communication from them. I am a XXXX XXXX and this company is trying to run a scam on me.

I've been contacted at least seven times by call from " No Caller ID '' who calls and immediately hangs up. They then leave a message that seems recorded, saying they are from FCR services calling to collect my debt and that I need to pay my outstanding balance. They do not say my name or the amount I supposedly owe. They then proceed to give the phone number : ( XXXX ) XXXX and the website paymybalance.com. Yet when they leave a voicemail, I can see the number they are calling from. They have used the numbers : ( XXXX ) XXXX ( called on XX/XX/23 ), ( XXXX ) XXXX ( called on XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 ), ( XXXX ) XXXX ( called on XX/XX/23 ) and ( XXXX ) XXXX ( called on XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 ). Another time they called, I was able to answer before they immediately hung up so they couldn't leave a message. Today I started receiving text messages from XXXX. In the text message, they include a website to find more information at XXXX. Not only are they calling about a debt I do not have. They are also impersonating a real debt collection company. The website and phone number for FCR Services are different than what they leave in the voicemail. Even the website to pay the balance to the real FCR Services is different. The fake website to find more information is obviously fraudulent and clearly a scam website.
