I was offered a job with an affiliate company and my credit was run. On the report there were XXXX cases in the XXXX court where I live with a name that is similar to mine, case numbers XXXX and XXXX for " XXXX XXXX '' that appear to be credit charge offs. Both are not associated with my Social Security. Hireright reported this event as being my cases, with out any disclaimer that they only searched the first and last name and did n't verify that is was not for me. I am in the cusp of not getting an offer now and have lost credibility and standing in my role as Head Of Compliance. I also have not been given a copy of the report that has adverse information on me, which makes it difficult to correct. I called the company who is suing the person with a similar name and was n't given information, and refuses to write a letter to me because the SS is different.

XXXX denied me employment without providing clear information as to what was the reason for the denial. I have already sent the updated court records to HireRight and XXXX and they were reluctant to update them.
My Criminal Court case has been dismissed and sealed as I was found not guilty. I notified XXXX and HireRight right away and yet they still decided to deny to employment because of a crime that I did not commit

I am using HireRight for a background check. I have sent over XXXX documents for XXXX employers for verification, both public schools in New York XXXX. I have sent XXXX from from the school and transcripts from the IRS. There is an issue with each document. No one will tell me what the issue is. I have spent over XXXX hours with customer service and they read a script, repeat the same things over and over and provide no information or support. I have sent over XXXX emails, and every response is exactly the same but from a different representative. They have asked for a XXXX form from over 10 years ago which is illegal. They said they could not contact XXXX of my employers ( a public school ) that they called in the summer on a Friday night at XXXX. I can not get anyone to help me complete the needed documents nor can I find anyone to answer questions.I am at a loss. I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have passed a background check before, with this company, XXXX years ago!! This is really unacceptable!
