I received three texts saying my number has been verified for them to send me debt collection texts. I do not owe national grid nor their XXXX credit agency money, i checked & have the receipts to prove it. I did not give this company permission to purchase any debt in my name, nor sell it and any of my personal information. I do not want any form of communication with them, they should not be trying to contact me at all anymore ; this should be a complete Cease & Desist.
I would also like Consumer financial protection bureau to contact XXXX XXXX because I absolutely do bot owe them money. I kept calling to make sure of it. Also i have Financial statements.

I am filing this complaint against NATIONAL RECOVERY AGENCY for you to provide essential account-level documentation regarding an account they are attempting to collect from me. I am requesting this documentation to verify the accuracy and legitimacy of the account, I believe this lack of transparency violates my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).
I am requesting from NATIONAL RECOVERY AGENCY the following details to confirm the accuracy of the debt they claim I owe : Date the account was opened with the original creditor Date the account was closed with the original creditor Date the account was sold to the current debt collector Date of first delinquency on the account Date and amount of the last payment made Current balance on the account, including a breakdown of fees, interest, or additional charges applied Date the account was charged off by the original creditor Statements and account level documentation.
Communication Records with the Creditor : Lastly, I am asking for any records of communication between myself and the original creditor, including any previous disputes or resolutions.

I am aware that according to article XXXX, the assignment of a defaulted note is illegal. Both the assignee and the assigned are both liable for violations under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) ( 12 ). I am not validating any alleged debt with ( XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) and my failure to dispute the validity of these alleged debts shall not be construed as an admission of liability. As of XXXX XX/XX/2022, I have not received any documentary evidence such as a trilateral contract giving ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) any right to collect on this alleged debt. I have never received any documentation requesting validation from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) before they committed multiple violations under the FCRA & the FDCPA by furnishing this alleged debt to my consumer report including but not limited to 15 USC 1692 ( d ) ( 4 ) which the FTC defines as debt parking. If ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) can not provide me with proof such as a tracking number that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing this on my consumer report, this has been a fraudulently furnished account with forethought and malice as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation. I am legally refusing to pay this alleged debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692 ( c ) ( c ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activities, any communication and collection activities of this and any alleged debt until ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them. If this documentary evidence can not be produced and ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) continues its collection efforts, I will file for litigation for actual damages caused and ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) will be held criminally liable for aggravated identity theft pursuant to 18 USC 1028a, extortion, theft by deception, securities fraud and mail fraud. They did not Pursuant to 15 USC 1681b, I have never given this company permission to furnish a consumer report. Per 15 USC 1681a ( q ) ( 3 ), this is considered identity theft. My identifying information is being used without my consent.

I had an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX when I cancelled my service and moved from that apartment, but they turned it back on, I'm guessing for the new renter but they kept it in my name and the people renting the unit never had it corrected.This was sent to collection company, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX This was the first I had heard about it and asked them to send me the paperwork because I knew I had cancelled and paid my final bill.Which they did and it clearly shows that it was cancelled and they stopped collection efforts and deleted it from my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX. Then I pulled my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX and the account had been sold of to National Recovery. I went directly to this collection agency and asked for the proof, they ignored me. I wrote to the bureaus where they also ignored me. I went back to the new collection agency, National Recovery, and sent them the paperwork that I had been provided by XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, showing proof that I had paid it. I have yet to hear back from them so I sent XXXX XXXX a letter directly asking them to please pull the account from the collection agency because this was their fault. I did not receive a response so I called them directly they claim they have never heard from me and would not look into the account.

Quite some time ago I noticed a derogatory note on my credit report. This was being reported by NTL Recovery Agency. The amount was for {$300.00}. When calling the recovery agency I was advised that the collection account was from XXXX XXXX of Massachusetts. I was advised to dispute directly with XXXX XXXX. I downloaded the forms and sent proof of residence as I do not and have never lived in the state of Massachusetts. It has been longer than 2 months and I have never heard back the results of their investigation. No attempts to contact company have been successful

The prior tenants failed to pay XXXX XXXX from approximately XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I became owner of the subject property by Deed recorded XX/XX/XXXX. I activated an account with XXXX XXXX on or about XX/XX/XXXX. My account XXXX was always paid on time. XXXX XXXX, its agents, servants and/or employees, broke into and entered my property and placed tubular locks on the electric and gas services on or about XX/XX/XXXX. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX transferred {$2800.00} to my account which was paid in full at the time { copy of bill attached }. The {$2800.00} was incurred by a tenant, XXXX XXXX, who is now deceased. I have advised XXXX XXXX of this fact on numerous occasions. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote to XXXX XXXX detailing the situation { copy of letter attached } ; no response was received by me. By notice dated XX/XX/XXXXXXXX { copy attached }, XXXX XXXX XXXX was attempting to collect the debt and on XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote to XXXX { copy of letter attached }. As evidenced by the Monthly Bill History furnished by XXXX XXXX, the charges originated in XXXX ; its is my contention that the charges date back before XX/XX/XXXXXXXX which was the date of the last meter reading requested by XXXX XXXX and the date that her account was closed.
The Statute of Limitations within which to attempt to collect these charges has expired. Pursuant to the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, the debt collector knows, or should know, that the debt is too old to collect on, and they have FAILED to do the following : { a } Tell me that the statute of limitations may have expired ; { b } Tell me that it is a violation of the Federal FDCPA to sue to collect a debt for which the statute of limitations has expired ; { c } Tell me that I do not have to admit to owing the debt, promise to pay the debt, or give up my rights regarding the statute of limitations.

In 2018 I was violently ill, I went to the doctor and they thought something was wrong with me. They sent me to get some test one was a XXXX test at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, They asked for my insurance to get pre approved. I was told I had nothing to pay, They scheduled my two appointments. They said they would collect the money from the insurance company. At no time did they inform me that I had a deductible or anything to pay. I left there office without paying anything after the tests.
While checking on a claim from another medical provider with my insurance company I was told that the XXXX XXXX XXXX was paid the following by my insurance company {$1200.00} {$1200.00} {$20.00} I started to receive phone calls from National Recovery Agen regarding more payments on the bill, I was told that they are the collection agency for the balance of the bill and I could not call XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I told them I want to get the debt validated and I want the original company contact me. They said I could only speak to them.
I called XXXX XXXX XXXX to get the debt validated and they told me they don't have the bill anymore that National Recovery is now the party to speak to. They also confirmed they had the wrong address for me.
At no time was the debt validated, At no time I was told I could dispute the bill, my rights under fair credit reporting was violated. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practises Act, XXXX XXXX XXXX was suppose to inform me of the bill, let me know they got paid before reporting to the debt collector. This was not done. I was never told by the company that my insurance company paid them three big checks. If I had know that I had a portion to pay I would have paid it at that time. I thought everything was taken care of by the money they recived from my insurance carrier.
I ran my credit report this morning only to find these debts on my credit report. I contacted the original creditor who told me that they indeed got paid, that they had my wrong address, and the debt collecting agency is indeed handling the bill for the balance. I asked how can I have a bill, when you told me that my insurance will pay the bill and you got a preapproval. They said I have to contact the collection agency.
The debt was never validated, the collection agency contiune to report it every month, I was never given the opportunity to dispute the bills. At no time did the collection agency told me the bill can be disputed.
I asked the medial company to sent me the bill, they finally emailed it to me after two years today when I told them I'm going to write to the CFPB. see attached I would also like this be sent to each of the credit bureau

I paid off National Recovery and they started calling every month for XXXX after stating I owe them I paid 3x 's after I recovered my credit National Recovery Agency in Pa reported it to Credit Bureau all but XXXX have removed it.
I had bank statement receipts of the payments its like they're systemically trying to sabotage my score. Also I have these ppl at XXXX who are harassing me.
I canceled ent them and sent receipts stating I had insurance with another company days before my next payment was due I canceled I got a settlement of XXXX and I cleared my credit with it all I had was XXXX worth of debt.
I'm going through health problems and I am not doing this, I don't need anybody extorting me for money I don't owe.

Hi, My name is XXXX XXXX and I am currently mobilized with the XXXX XXXX. I'm updating my security clearance and a collection charge of {$950.00} dated XX/XX/18 shows in my credit reports. The agency handling the case is National Recovery located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX PA XXXX, PH # XXXX. Apparently is for dental services performed by XXXX XXXX located in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX PA XXXX, PH # XXXX. There is no accuunt number. The issue is that I never in my life been in XXXX XXXX for any dental services. I contacted both XXXX and National recovery to resolve this problem. XXXX responded that they will take care of the problem. However, when I contacted National recovery to inform of the problem and have it corrected, the service was unprofessional. The lady who responded " do what you have to do '' on the phone, and hung up on me. She did not even give the chance to ask for her name and/or explain that due to my military status I was overseas and do not easily have access to a phone. So happens that my ship is stuck in port due to bad weather and I was able to get internet access to file this complain.
As a military member, it is important that this error is corrected right away for my security clearance, therefore, I am requesting your assistance to get it resolved. I do not know when I will have access to a phone and/or the internet again, but my email address is XXXX.
