The mission is to educate and empower individuals to affect meaningful change through the thoughtful practice of conflict resolution in their lives and the world around them. Planning Change offers certification in Mediation and Restorative Justice Circle Keeping at various levels.
Elizabeth has been teaching conflict resolution, mediation and restorative justice for more than twenty years. Her training draws on her extensive professional practice as a mediator in the areas of business, families, schools and workplace conflict. She is a social worker, a shaman, and founded a non-profit organization using the principles of restorative justice to address child sexual abuse. She is frequently called upon to train leaders in government and the private sector to address large systemic issues such as racism, sexual harassment and entrenched workplace conflicts.
Planning Change specializes in training Circle Keepers in both the foundational work as well as the more advanced forms, specifically in regard to using circles for healing from harm, and resolving conflict in a system. Planning Change can be hired for both trainings and for conflict resolution. We will use the practice of Circle Keeper combined with our expertise in Mediation to develop the right program or intervention for any situation. Planning Change can work with one person, two people, small groups or large multi-stakeholder groups. |
