Complaint What Happened As of XXXX XXXX I had repaid my debt with an excessive amount. On that day, according to my account NBP sent a reimbursement check to me. I have not received it. When I contacted by email I was told to contact XXXX, to whom my last payment was made. When I contacted by phone two weeks ago I was told the holiday weekend may have slowed the check in the mail. I was told to call back at the end of the week if I had not received a check. This week I contacted XXXX, which actually showed that I had a XXXX cent credit which they promised to send to me. I called NBP immediately after and was told that XXXX owed me. I explained that, no, according to both statement and conversation with XXXX, they do not owe me more than XXXX cents. After being placed on hold I was told that I could call back after the XXXX of XXXX because only then would they be able to void the check and send me payment. I might also add that every month I received an email threat that they would take my monthly payment from my account and if there were insufficient funds I would lose even more money. They, apparently, do not hold themselves to the same standards.
