On XX/XX/year> I received a letter from TSG Collections, LLC., XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX NJ XXXX, XXXX, XXXX threatening to report a medical debt to a credit reporting agency. This letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX, a day after your rule against such reporting become final. The letter stated " This office has not received payment on the above. YOUR CREDIT IS IMPORTANT! If we do not receive payment, we may recommend that this debt be reported on your credit. This could have a negtive effect on your credit for as as SEVEN ( 7 ) YEARS! Without a good credit score you might not be able to get a credit card, rent an apartment or buy a car or a house. '' The letter was signed by XXXX XXXX for TSG Collections , LLC.
When I called the TSG the representative said they knew they could not legally report the alleged debt to a credit reporting agency and they did not have the intention to do so. This is clear harassment as I do not owe the medical debt they claim and they are just trying to harass people for payment they are not entitled to.

I received a notice that I purportedly owed a debt of XXXX dollars. After examining the info sent, the attached invoice showed only XXXX dollars. After a few days and consulting with the company that claims I owe the money, they claim I owe only XXXX dollars. The invoice sent by TSG Collections was for an entirely different individual with their address and name. So not only was there an incorrect amount on the claim letter, but it also had the statement of an entirely different, uninvolved person.
I also needed to send an email a certified letter and still had to call them to be told they would give me a corrected amount. I am still waiting to receive that information despite them having my email information.
