During the Biden Presidency he enacted plans for student loan forgiveness programs for folks like myself who have had trouble paying these unfair loans back. However, in order to reap these benefits, I had to switch to the government 's preferred loan servicer. So, I switched from XXXX to XXXX in the hopes that my student loans from XX/XX/XXXX would finally be forgiven. This never came to fruition obviously. Since then my loan has been bought by Aidvantage from XXXX. Under my old XXXX IDR program ( income driven repayment plan ) I had a 20 year cap on my loans, which was set to come due this upcoming XX/XX/XXXX. However, when I reached out to Aidvantage they informed me that when I switched from XXXX to XXXX, only so I would receive the government benefit of loan forgiveness, this changed my IDR plan to 25 years. I obviously would have NEVER agreed to this change had they not fraudulently duped me with promises of loan forgiveness. And when the loan forgiveness programs were largely abandoned I am now stuck paying these loans for another five extra years???? Because I switched plans to receive a government program that was nixed? This is criminal. Forcing people into worse loan terms by dangling loan forgiveness. I will not be paying these loans passed XX/XX/XXXX. I hope this can be worked out before then.

Hello, My student loan information with my servicer AidVantage is incorrect. The dates don't reflect the proper dates of when I fiXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. For some reason, they are showing my loans as beginning in XXXX when I bXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Though the bulk of my loans are from XXXX, which, as I stated above, I began XXXX in XXXX.
Also, I don't think any of the payments that I've made under XXXX XXXX have been credited towards my loan amount. AidVantage mentioned that my XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX loans were forgiven and said they would assist me with getting to the bottom of the incorrect loan dates after my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX forgiveness went through. I've called several times and haven't been able to get assistance with this. Either the rep eventually puts me on hold, isn't helpful, or I've even had reps hang up on me.
I'm beyond frustrated at this point and would like assistance with getting this corrected asap.
