On or about July 6, 2023, employee cutting off wood beams from a 7-feet high concrete wall was struck-by a circular saw. The employer provided the employee with a size 12-inch blade rated for 5000 RPM to operate in a saw that uses a size 14-inch blade and operates at an RPM over 5000. Abatement certification is required pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19. |
