Complaint What Happened The debt this agency is trying to collect if from my brother. They call eventhough I tell them that this is not my debt and they need to contact my brother. I have been fielding calls from them for over 2 years. They ignore my numerous requests for the calls to stop coming to me and they have recently increased and they've become more aggressive. Today was the most aggressive that they ever been, by informing me that that my name was listed on an account that belonged to my brother ( which was false ) and they pulled up my credit report. The manager said my report looked good and that I had nothing to worry about. I told them they were not authorized to pull my credit report without my permission, and the rep said " Take that up with your Brother '' and hung up on the phone on me! I know they claim to record all phone calls for training purposes, so they called my home phone number ending in XXXX, today XX/XX/16 at XXXX EST, should a recording of the phone call needs to be confirmed. The debt is not mine, so the agency was in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The debt they are trying to collect was not mine, so they had NO RIGHT to pull my credit report!! I would like to file suit against them.

Complaint What Happened This is addendum to complaint # XXXX. The name of the firm : ASGRecoveries.com. I received a voicemail from from XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX asking me to call them to resolve a past due debt was in collections. ( All of my bills are current and my credit is in good condition. Additionally, Ive no past due bills. ) I called the telephone number and got a message saying that I needed to resolve the problem with the law firm. I also received a text that is also attached below.
