This debt is from a remaining balance on an apartment I was forced to move out of because I was a victim of XXXX XXXXXXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, my lease was up in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX parties remained in the apartment and later downgraded after I was long gone. They forged my signature/name on XXXX the documents the collections company is providing as " evidence. '' It is now XX/XX/XXXX I was informed of nothing until about a month ago over a year after I moved out. I have continuously tried to get this debt removed and explain the situation and I am being ignored. The debt company keeps sending me letters and saying I'm missing payments when I have never even spoke to them, they won't leave me alone. Furthermore, this debt was removed off my credit once, then put back on which is also wrong.
I urge you to remove this debt immediately it is not mine, I can not be forced to pay for an apartment I was no longer living in. I'm currently not contacting the debt collector.

This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive and unfair practices of the FDCPA which prohibits. They furnish this account that we didnt agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it, more so they didnt follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which makes this unfair practices. According to FDCPA Im entitled to {$1000.00} per violation and clearly they violated my rights.

Based on verification records from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, it has been determined that Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) is not licensed, registered, or authorized to conduct business in the State of New York ( NYS ). This constitutes a violation of NYS General Business Law, which is enforced by the New York Department of Financial Services ( DFS ).
I have been residing in New York State during the time period in question that Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. claims the debt was incurred.
Additionally, Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. is not licensed, registered, or authorized to conduct business in the State of Nevada, where they claim the debt originated, which certainly does not belong to me during the time period in question.
The unlawful actions of Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. have adversely affected my credit score and financial stability, making it challenging for me to access credit or loans at reasonable rates and meet my financial obligations. Under the law, I am entitled to {$1000.00} in damages plus attorney fees due to their negligence.
As a resident of New York State, I am aware of my rights, and therefore, I demand that Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. cease and desist all collection activities and remove their erroneous collection entry from my XXXX credit reports and all other credit reporting agencies.
I respectfully request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter. Thank you for your attention to this serious issue.

I am XXXX XXXX Military and I received orders to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . I lived at XXXX XXXX Apartments. Upon moving out XXXX XXXX asked for a forwarding address and I explained that I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX and I did not have a good address but I still had to provide one anyway. I told them my number would be the best contact method if needed. In XXXX I received a letter from Professional Debt Mediation s aying I owed {$240.00}, this the first and only letter I have received from them. I then wrote a letter back to validating the debt. Once I found out it was from XXXX XXXX I called them to see what was it for and why I was not informed. I spoke to XXXX and he explained everything it was a left over water bill and he felt bad that it was n't passed down to call me since they mailed out some notices and sent an email that must have went to spam and he tried to get the account back from XXXX but could not. So Instead he had them note the account to take away the fee brining the balance down to {$180.00} and to delete all negative reports on my credit in which they agreed to do so. On XXXX XXXX I called XXXX and was sent to XXXX , I explained that I wanted to make payment and that the account should be noted to be deleted once the payment has been received. He said he would have to call XXXX XXXX to confirm they could manually delete the debt and asked if the number I called him on was a good number to call back, I then told him no it was not and gave him my cell phone number. Then I received a phone call on my " Work '' phone from XXXX stating that XXXX XXXX agreed to the " Payment for deletion '' and if I could make a payment now, I then asked him to send the letter and I would call to make a payment and he asked for my email address and gave me his direct extension. I work at a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with people around me constantly trying to join the XXXX so giving out my card info over the phone I was not comfortable doing. After telling XXXX I wo uld call back he then called my Work '' phone again and said he spoke to someone at XXXX XXXX and it needed to be resolved now, I then told him that earlier I told him I would call back and that he keeps calling my work phone and I do not have my card on me ( it was in my car ). He then said " so you dont have the money '' I repeated that I do have the money but I did not have my card on me and he keeps calling my work phone and that I told him not to and I would call him once I got off of work. He then said he needed payment today before XXXX XXXX and I said again that I did not want him calling my job and I would call him once I got off. He then stated that he was withdrawing the offer to remove the negative report from my credit report despite what he sent me in writing and what was agreed on with XXXX XXXX . I truly felt harassed and embarrassed while trying to put kids in the military and I have a debt collector harassing me and arguing with me in front of applicants trying to join the military.

XX/XX/XXXX contacted company after receiving complaint response..
As stated in previous complaint : XXXX I updated my email and mailing address with the debt collections company so they can send me the validating correspondence I was looking for before making a payment. They failed to do so they attempted to mail multiple addresses the correspondence but failed. The correct address is listed on my account with them but they failed to send me the validation letter within 30 days of speaking to me to the correct address. They stated so as well in there complaint response that I put in XX/XX/XXXX. Never did they list the address I gave them only the addresses that got forwarded back to them. They never attempted to contact me because if they had they would of sent the validation letter to the mail address given which has been the same since XXXX... I told XXXX the Surpervisor that the company failed to do their due diligence In order to get the account validated and paid. If they would of mailed the correspondence to the address given this would of been avoided.
Than I attempted to settle the account with a percentage and he refused and stated they dont settle accounts even though in XXXX when I called in they stated I could.

I contacted the company " professional debt '' letting them know that they have an account on file with my information that was fraudulently created. I have never done business with them or any of the clients that they represent. This account is the result of identity theft which I proved to them multiple times yet they refuse to remove my information from their systems. I demand that this file is blocked from my credit report immediately. they are trying to blackmail me into paying a debt that is not mine. Professional Debt Management / XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting a debt to the XXXX credit bureaus that is not owed. When XXXX was requested, they sent me a copy of the original lease agreement with XXXX XXXX with no proof/documentation of any outstanding money owed. The lot lease with home purchase sent as XXXX pre-dates bankruptcy discharged XXXX, in which XXXX XXXX and all affiliates of the XXXX are listed as creditors. Notice of delinquent rent in XX/XX/XXXX does not exceed {$420.00} - and was " pay or vacate '' ( property was vacated ) with mobile home returned to possession of the park. The park filed a delinquent tenant case that was dismissed in XXXX Judicial Circuit Court, XXXX, FL, on XXXX. The amount Professional Debt Mgmt. is reporting and attempting to collect is {$3400.00}. Despite providing them with bankruptcy case information, collection and release from claim letters from XXXX XXXX, and copy of court documents, they continue to refresh ( and change first report date ) on my credit reports and claim the debt as valid. Creditor is not entitled to collect on any portion of the home purchase balance discharged in the bankruptcy. Lot rent owed ended with the surrender of possession of the lot and collateral on XX/XX/XXXX, per the creditors terms in the letter I received - copy provided to the debt collection agency.
