A collection agency is trying to collect a debt from me that does not belong to me. Previous complaints have revealed that the collection agency wants to obtain information from me in violation of the law regarding collection agencies, namely, obtaining my government issued ID and filling out a legal form provided by the agency is a violation, in addition, this data will be used against me, since the agency does not have any evidence of my debt, except for public information that can be found through any search engine on the Internet. The provided handwritten contract, which is evidence, does not contain my signature, or rather there is a signature, but it is not mine, the evidence also contains Form XXXX in the name of a citizen of the XXXX XXXX , although I am a citizen of the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX According to my rights and the law, I am not obliged to provide the documents that the collection agency requires from me, and the collection agency does not have the right to demand these documents from me. According to the law, the report I provided is official proof that this debt does not belong to me. In turn, I have also filed a complaint through a XXXX state attorney with the credit bureaus and will be preparing a claim against this collection agency. I demand that the collection agency Ideal Collection service immediately stop reporting to the credit bureaus on a completely fraudulent debt. I am attaching the FTC report. The company can prove that the debt belongs to me only by the fact that they know my name and date of birth, they do not have any other supporting information, as well as my signature on the contract does not match my signature.
