Complaint What Happened XXXX XXXX XXXX sent my debt to a collection agency called Rushmore. I had an agreement of pay to delete and was sending all my money there. Rushmore eventually contacted me in 2021 to tell me that XXXX XXXX bought back the debt. They did not inform me of this and even though the account is paid in full they are reporting a charge off actively on my account. XXXX XXXX has not contacted me nor has validated the debt I requested within 30 days. They also removed my access to their banking system and made it hard for me to pay off this debt. Luckily I finally got in touch with someone after trying for a month to make the final payment, even though the debt was satisfied with Rushmore Service Center.

Complaint What Happened Rushmore Services persistently contacted my employer 's office after I asked them repeatedly not too. I asked to be contacted by mail if they wish to discuss a matter with me. After some research on my own they were attempting to collect a debt that was paid off. Not only have they harassed me at my place of employment, but they have a debt that has been paid.
