29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 10 Allen Street Gloversville, NY on or about July 15, 2020, employees on a multi-employer jobsite were engaging in roofing operations on a residential two story home with no fall protection or improper fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard. b) 10 Allen Street Gloversville, NY on or about July 16, 2020, employees on a multi-employer jobsite were engaging in roofing operations on a residential two story home with no fall protection or improper fall protection employees did not hammer in anchor points and disguised the anchor points under bundles of shingles so that it appeared they were anchored off to the roof. Cousins Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1169198, citation number 1, item number 1A and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 55 Wilton Rd. Greenfield Center, NY 12833 |
