Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. a) Sidewalk shed on Marine Ave. side, north of jobsite: An employee was working on a 10-foot-high sidewalk shed. The interior side of the sidewalk shed was open and the employee was not protected from falling to ground by the use of fall protection systems. The employee was exposed to falling approximately 10 feet. On or about 08/09/12. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS ITEM.
