Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures: a) Worksite, 5 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway, NY- Pieces of lumber with protruding nails, plywood, broken glass, cardboard boxes, discarded food, garbage bags and pvc piping were strewn throughout the work areas where employees were working, exposing them to fall hazards; on or about 7/28/17. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
