Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my private student loan with Climb Credit, as I believe I may have been affected by the deceptive and abusive practices described in your recent legal complaint against Climb Credit ( Case No. XXXX ).
I obtained a loan from Climb Credit in XXXX to finance tuition for a XXXX XXXX XXXX offered by XXXX XXXX. Based on the CFPBs allegations, I am concerned that : - The educational program I financed may not have been properly vetted by Climb Credit for quality or return on investment.
- The loan terms, including finance charges, origination fees, and XXXX, may not have been accurately disclosed to me at the time of signing.
- Climb Credits marketing materials may have misrepresented the outcomes, such as salary increases and employment rates, for graduates of the program.
- These practices, as outlined in your complaint, significantly impacted my decision to take out this loan. The program I attended did not meet my expectations in terms of promised outcomes, and I now face financial difficulty in repaying this loan.
I would like to : - Report my experience with Climb Credit for further investigation.
- Be informed about how I might be eligible for restitution or other relief resulting from this legal action.
- Request guidance on disputing the loan directly with Climb Credit, should this be necessary.

When i was looking at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX They sent me the Paperwork to sign for The Climb loan But i did not want to sign it And i fill it out by accident Then Climb loan told me that i have 3 days to cancel And i tried to cancel it But Climb loan sent the money to the XXXX XXXX And told me that it is too late to cancel I did not expect for Climb loan to send the money to the XXXX XXXX After That, I had to Start the XXXX XXXX XXXX But then i got very XXXX due to XXXX and my XXXX XXXX And i told XXXX to cancel my program Then it took me many month until i Reached XXXX XXXX She lowered my bill to {$1500.00} XXXX But it is still allot to pay back, because i only finished one lesson And i am on XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. It is difficult for me to pay my bills and buy food XXXX XXXX granted me Forbearance for 3 month to pay {$50.00} a month

I am the co-signer of a loan that my husband took out. Due to XXXX, I contacted Climb XXXXXXXX XXXX to pause payments for a couple of months due to being out of work. Since reactivating the payment plan, we are unable to make payments due to an issue on their side. We have contacted them upwards of 10 times trying to resolve this issue as it is severely affecting both mine and my husbands credit, but we are constantly being told that someone will call us to follow up, and nobody does. From the information I have gathered, they have sold our loan to another company who is out of state and therefore can not legally accept payment from us. We need this issue resolved ASAP as my credit has plummeted due to their lack of help and responsibility in this situation. We owe approximately {$7000.00}.

I have tried multiple times to get onto a repayment plan after defaulting on my loan. My loan was given to a collection service, however, because the loan was distributed in the statement New York the collection service cant legally collect. Now I have no way of actually paying my loan and kept being told some one will contact me about getting my loan to be payable. Every time Im told to wait a few but no one ever gets back to me. My loan is damaging my credit and my co signers dreading because its going unpaid and they have not offered any solution after months of trying to resolve this issue.

There is 2 diffrent school and issues are similar, in 2021 XXXX i started cource with " XXXX XXXX " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but for some reason i have to dis continue and end of paying full amount what they asked, but in tthe mean while one of the sales represantative reach out to me and i purchased another cource from him and he promised that he is going to refund for previous course which " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' later on they provide me a documents that they refunded full amount but climb bank ( student loan servicer satate that they didn't receive any amount, and they are charging me evry month.
so i need a help with this, when i call the bank they are keep saying your school need to reach out to us, and when i talk to school they state i have to deal with the bank, so far i need a help with my refund and wants to know who is right and who is wrong?

In XXXX XXXX I got a loan from Climb ( who partners with XXXX ) in order to attend XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Design Program. This was one of two lenders recommended by the school.
I took out a loan of {$16000.00} with an interest rate of 8.15 % equalling {$17000.00}. Therefore owing {$550.00} for 36 months after a 6 month deferment period.
I used a credit card that was accepted as proof of payment at the time of loan agreement.
I was expecting to make my first payment in XXXX but the $ never came out of my account, but was reassured everything was fine when I went on the Climb site.
The Climb website shows I have no past due payments. & that my auto payment is set up with XXXX. And that my 1st payment is due XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be an issue so I logged into my XXXX account & it showed that I had no card on file.
I called Climb to find out they no longer accept inbound calls. And the message center says if the funds have already been sent & used to call XXXX with any issues.
I called XXXX and was told they no longer accept credit cards as a form of payment because " Climb said so '' or due to " new regulations in the dept. of treasury ''. When I asked for more information I was told that they don't have any. I was also given multiple dates as to when this came into effect. All of which after our agreement was made. My call was dropped multiple times while trying to get more information.
Since the time of my loan.. Approx 7-8 months I have been contacted 0 times by either company notifying me of any updates/changes made. Including a new website. Where I can no longer access documents from our agreement. The original Climb site shows an error while trying to access those documents. While on the phone XXXX said they have to request my promissory agreement from Climb. Even though they now have a joint website.
I've also read online about peoples experience with these companies & saying there were issues with double charging. I'm concerned if my payment method is with a savings account my money with not be protected & insured the same way a credit card will. And I will not be able to get in contact or get helpful customer service.
I would like to pay my loan in the way I originally intended and on time. I just want to know what's going on.
