29 CFR 1926.502(b)(3): Guardrail systems were not capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied within 2 inches (5.1 cm) of the top edge, in any outward or downward direction, at any point along the top edge: a) Building C, Fourth Floor - On or about November 5, 2018 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to fall hazards while working near guardrail systems that were not adequately installed. On November 5, 2018 an employee fell through the balcony guardrail in Apt 401 resulting in multiple fractures. |
