(a) Building 6, during installation of vapor barrier paper: On or prior to 12/1/22, employees using personal fall arrest system(s) while working from a work platform supported by a Lull telehandler were not trained by a competent person in the proper use and rigging of shock absorbing lanyards and rope grabs, as well as the recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with improper use. |

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) On September 15, 2022, and at times prior at 41 MT Ebo Road, Brewster, NY, 10509, employees were performing framing work on a residential building and was exposed to an approximately 9 foot fall hazard without any form of fall protection. Moan Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard contained in OSHA inspection number 1424191, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 18, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 35-41 Moorland Drive, Danbury, CT 06810. |
