(a) On or about 05/31/2019, at facility, for the paramedics and EMTs wearing 3M N95 respirators while responding to people with conditions such as, but not limited to, ebola, tuberculosis, and communicable respiratory infections. The employees were not provided a fit test prior to being required to wear the respirator. Parkland Ambulance Service, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1027227, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/10/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 793 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12307. |
