29 CFR 1926.502(b)(3): Guardrail systems were not capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied within 2 inches (5.1 cm) of the top edge, in any outward or downward direction, at any point along the top edge: a) Building C, Fourth Floor - On or about November 5, 2018 and at times prior thereto, sub-contractors employees were exposed to fall hazards while working near guardrail systems that were not adequately installed. On November 5, 2018 a sub-contractors employee fell through the balcony guardrail in Apt 401 resulting in multiple fractures. |
