All rack columns shall be anchored to the floor with anchor bolts, which shall be designed in accordance with Section 7.3, to resist all applicable forces as described in Section 2.1 or Section 2.2." b) Storage warehouse and manufacturing warehouse: The employer did not repair and/or evaluate the damaged portions of the steel storage racks to ensure that the racks have the structural integrity to support loads and resist forces from potentially being struck by moving equipment. Employees engaged in material handling operations were exposed to being struck and crushed by falling steel storage racks and/or components of the steel storage racks, including any materials stored on the racks.
