Activity Description: | CBK Diversified, Inc., also doing business as CBK Associates, offers a range of consultancy services in New York City, throughout the United States, and globally. We bring a wealth of talent derived from years of experience. We are authors, program developers, organizational thinkers, planners, creators, and partners. All of our consulting is custom-designed to meet your needs. In New York City, our team currently provides resources in the form of program development and signature concepts for youth and adult to advance: - Youth Adult Partnerships as seen in our signature work with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Service and the Youth Leadership Councils; we provide program and professional development for the range of participants including NYPD, nonprofits, NYCHA, government agencies and schools to create a fairer and more inclusive City. For over seven years, we have been a collaborator to engage youth throughout the city as change agents with the support of adults who value and appreciate the voice and vision youth bring. - JEDI Workshops on Justice-Equity-Diversity-Inclusion; restoring communities requires collective growth that changes systems, achieved through deepening understanding and revising everyday practices to establish inclusive, culturally responsive environments. This comes in the form of strategic planning, workshops, coaching, program development, and ongoing conversations to ensure our collaborations are meaningful and forward thinking. This includes Bias Awareness to recognize and interrupt implicit bias and microaggressions that interfere with wellbeing and learning as part of a culturally responsive program. The JEDI work is a part of all of the consulting that we provide, led by CBK Associate and Racial Justice Educator Christopher Dadefumi, also of ArkPhilosophy. - Service Learning and Civic Engagement empowers and enables youth to be active in their communities. Through a process established by CBK Diversified founder Cathryn Berger Kaye, author of The Complete Guide to Service Learning, we provide engaging workshops, programming and curriculum for schools, organizations, and nonprofits – including with the Youth Leadership Councils which has centered it’s design for progress by adapting the Five Stages of Service Learning outlined in the aforementioned book. CBK Associates has been offering programing on these concepts through the Youth Leadership Councils, and the NYC Department of Education for over eight years and engaged with public and private institutions throughout the City. - Social and Emotional Dynamics is a foundation of all we do – to ensure our individual and collective wellbeing is considered, strengthened, and maintain so we thrive in whatever environment we are in. We provide programs and flexible curriculum for all grade levels of school – primary, middle, and secondary, and high school. During Covid, for NYC and globally, we developed a program Documentar to provide a platform for youth voice and expression during these challenging times. We offer support with Meaningful Conversations, and Wellbeing as examples of the myriad topics we address and can design to accommodate your needs. We look forward to conversations to know how you are providing for New Yorkers, and ways we can support, engage, invigorate, and partner to magnify and amplify your purpose and your results. |
