Good day, I had XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at my home for more than 6 years. The system was plagued with issues, from blank panel screens to no images being captured despite persons entering and leaving my home and yard space. It became untenable during the pandemic when we were mostly shopping online. I had my delivered parcels stolen regularly and I had no proof of them being removed, despite the fact that I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX that covers my front yard and part of my neighbors on both sides. Each time I complained to XXXX customer service they would read from their script and tell me to ( 1 ) shut down all power to my home from the main panel ( I have to go outside to the main electrical panel to do this ) ( 2 ) They would tell me to go outside to the door bell and give me instructions to press and report the lighting colors on the door bell to them ( 3 ) They would required me to get a screw driver and instrut me on how to remove the panel cover and perform the instructions that they would provide over the phone from their script.
I am not a yong person and I am not inclined in these areas or skills. I became frustrated with these tasks and they gave me the option of paying for a technician to come to my home to perform these repair work. Problems usually return within days or a few weeks.
In XXXX of XXXX, one morning I wok up and my property that faces the doorbell camera was removed from my premises and there were no images captured by that camera for days including that morning, I was livid. I spent 45 minutes on the phone on XX/XX/ until I got a representative. I told her that I wanted to cancel the security service that they provide at my home, effective immediately. They told me it could not be done that way, I have to send a written letter requesting cancellation and wait thirty days for their cancellation process. They text me their email information with instruction for cancelling the service. I came home from work and did as I was told.
I never received an email or letter from them in respose to my request. On XX/XX/, my husband and I obtain securty service from XXXX, which has been providing effective monitoring service to our home. XXXX has been billing me continuosly even after my cancellation request and the 30 day they told me that they needed. Their useless equiptment has been sittin in a box at my house since it was remove from my walls by XXXX on XX/XX/. Please have the cancel these bills and do all that is need to clear the negative reporting from my credit report.

As a federally protected natural consumer, original creditor and principal on all accounts, I feel like this is an attempt to extort and rob me, personally, my family and my household. This is criminal activity at the least and is unacceptable. Each violation has a statutory cost of {$1000.00} and this does not include emotional distress, defamation of character, or any unseen injuries.

In 2019 I opened a cell phone contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX. A few months later, I decided to upgrade my phone early in the XXXX XXXX. I traded in my phone and the upgrade was complete. I got my next bill and it was about double what the bill typically should have been. I also noticed there was an additional line on my account. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told that the representative in XXXX signed me up for a buy one get one deal, so I was being charged for 2 phones and 2 lines of service although I only had one. I asked what could be done to fix it, and I was told to return the phone that I had gotten in XXXX and the contract would be cancelled, and I would be charged nothing additional. I returned the phone, and XXXX XXXX XXXX claims that the return isnt reflected being reported by XXXX even though I have provided XXXX XXXX XXXX the return receipt, they need the return to be reported by XXXX. I had gone to the XXXX store, and the manager on duty spoke to a manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX. Neither business wants to adjust my bill, they agree that I shouldnt be penalized for the mistakes made at XXXX, but XXXX XXXX XXXX refuses to waive my bill. They are billing me for a phone that was returned to XXXX as well as services for an additional line that never existed. I am outraged and disgusted by XXXX XXXX XXXX. Theyre ruining my credit as a result of something that is absolutely not my fault.

hello, On XX/XX/19 an call was placed to this agency for the debt that is on my credit report. this amount is wrong. Payments were paid to the previous agency and the converter boxes has been sent back. I was supposed to received at least {$200.00} credit for the boxes being sent back, seeing that the original debt was for service that has not been rendered. The cable service was to be paid a month a head of time every month. If not paid they will cut off your service. So bad enough I still have to pay for a bill on cable I didnt get the opportunity to watch but they are trying to make me pay for the boxes and for payments I already paid. They offered me a {$230.00} settlement that I declined, the balance they said that I owed was {$470.00}. I told them if they take in light that I did send the boxes back with they said was {$160.00} and deduct that from the {$470.00} and then offer me a settlement, I would be more inclined to take that offer so it can come off my credit report. but they declined

It all started after I closed my account with XXXX wireless on XX/XX/XXXX Ive been receiving emails and letters and calls from a debt collection agency called sequium asset solutions. I tried calling this company and XXXX bud never to get through to anyone. They never answer their phones so I assumed it was false or scammers. I was under the impression that it wasnt real because I contacted XXXX months ago back in XXXX and I was assure that I should ignore it and my credit would not be ruined by them. After I closed out my account the XXXX XXXX assured me my account would be zeroed out and I have no financial obligations to XXXX being that I did not have a contract with them I brought over my own phone and I was on a month to month plan. The reason I closed my account was because from the date of XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX of closing my account it has been nothing but a mess I could not access my phone I could make or receive calls I had zero data usage where I can show proof of and not only that an agent took it upon his/herself to upgrade my plan to a more expensive one because they thought it would be better for me and better data usage so I was credited {$40.00} for the inconvenience. From them I was not comfortable keep this account open. I should noticed when they threaten to send my account to debt collectors and ruin my credit when I was in good standing with them when it was the company who was at fault the entire time I was in full compliance with them. I have proof to show the hours on the phone with them and emails and constantly contacting them. I was even sent emails saying that I never used my line upon opening the account with them. Any how I was told by the agent that I should ignore the monthly bills and letters because XXXX was in the wrong and the account is close theyre should be no active bill. So Im utterly confused as in to why they ruin my credit and sold my information wrongfully to a debt collection agency who dont even have the decency to answer their phone. This is not right I was even told legal actions will be taken against me if I dont pay off the debt. This is downright outrageous! Whats even worst is XXXX refusing to speak with me about the matter at hand. After ruining my credit. All of this was occurring during the Covid-19 pandemic at a time where Im supposed to focused on the safety of my family and myself this occurred? Great job XXXX and Sequium Asset Solutions!

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from Sequim Asset Solutions about a {$100.00} debt they received from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for unpaid fees. I currently receive services from XXXX XXXX XXXX and pay monthly however they told me this from a previous account which was closed. The account was closed XX/XX/XXXX because billing responsibility was transferred to another account holder/ After the account closed, the old account accumulated recurring fees for a XXXX XXXX service I asked to cancel. I still made a payment in XX/XX/XXXX after learning the account was still not closed. A year and a few months later, I learned the recurring service for the XXXX XXXX was never cancelled and they sent the bill to collections ( Sequim Asset Solutions ). I was on the phone with over 10 different employees from XXXX XXXX XXXX for 9 hours just to find out that theres nothing that could be done and was left needing to pay for a bill on an account that was cancelled. I cried and have lost sleep since. This is by far the most traumatic thing that happened to me in such a challenging year.

Sequium Asset Solutions claims they do not remove paid collections from my credit report. However, my score has been negatively affected once the collection appeared on my report and although its been paid, my score has not been positively affected at all by paying this account in full. Every other collection gets removed and scores improve. This is not the case with this debt collector and is an unfair debt collection practice. If the collection has been paid then my score should go up. If not, if need to be removed. I have asked for Sequium to remove and they will not comply. XXXX XXXX XXXX has not provided any solutions either.

I got a notification from a credit bureau notifying me of a collection on my account from sequium asset solutions for XXXX. This collection agency did not bother to call me or mail me anything to inform me I owed money and they reported it to the credit bureaus before I could make it right and pay the XXXX so they did not report it on my credit history. I paid the collection on XX/XX/XXXX I have a email from them confirming my payment. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have yet to receive a paid in full letter that I have requested twice. I also would like to get this off my credit history and they will not report to any of the credit bureaus that is paid in full.

Sometime between XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX began calling me claiming that I owed {$210.00} for cell phone service, after I had changed to another provider. I explained that I could not this amount. They insisted but would not provide me the dates of service. I then requested the bill and usage information for the bill that they were trying to collect totaling {$210.00}. XXXX sent me the requested information which showed that I could not possibly owe {$210.00} based on their own usage records. I called the company numerous times but no one would review the bill. They insisted that all they could do is collect the money. XXXX refused to listen to me about that even their own records show that I do not owe XXXX. Rather than investigating the matter and checking their records, made a negative reporting to the credit bureaus and referred me to a collection agency XXXX referred me to a collection agency I have contacted the collection agency, Sequium, which stated that they can not verify the debt or state if XXXX 's bill is inaccurate. The agency stated that it opened a dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I dispute this account with XXXX about XXXX months before the debt was referred to Sequium.
Attached is the bill with the usage information and a letter that I wrote to Sequium.

I previously had cellular phone service with XXXX XXXX XXXX in which I was a customer for 10 years and the problem began after I purchased a new cell phone on XX/XX/XXXX in their XXXX XXXX XXXX store in XXXX XXXX NY. The purchase price was {$910.00} but I was given a trade in credit of {$200.00} which lowered the price to {$710.00} which were to be paid in installments on my monthly bill. I still have my original receipt verifying the purchase and trade in. When I received my first bill in XX/XX/XXXX, the price of the phone was changed to from {$710.00} to {$910.00} and subsequently remained that amount. I have contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX numerous times to try and correct it and they never did. Therefore, all of my monthly bills from XX/XX/XXXX to present have all been incorrect. I became extremely upset and frustrated with the company due to the issue not being resolved that I cancelled my service and switched to another provider in XX/XX/XXXX. I have made several attempts to have my final bill corrected but it still has not. Therefore, I am refusing to pay it until it is. Now, XXXX XXXX XXXX has sent the bill to Sequium Asset Solution Collection Agency and they put it on my Credit Reports. I want it removed from my Credit Report because I do not owe XXXX XXXX XXXX {$910.00}. I spoke with the collection Agency on XX/XX/XXXX who offered to reduce the amount ; however, the reduction was not to my satisfaction. Then the representative made a conference call with XXXX XXXX XXXX and myself trying to get an accurate amount of my bills but could not because XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX representative could not access my account from XX/XX/XXXX, she could only go back as far as XX/XX/XXXX.

I never had a relation with this company before. This report made my credit score down. I had sent a dispute on credit reporting company execept XXXX due computer difficulties.

According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC 1681 section 602 ( a ) states, " There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. '' XXXX is a consumer reporting agency, and I am the consumer in this case and XXXX has allowed SEQUIUM to commit this fraudulent reporting.
I have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared or exposed, which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which states, " It is the policy of Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers ' non-public personal information. 15 USC 1681c ( a ) ( 5 ) states, " Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information : Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedate the report by more than seven years. '' This account is an adverse item that XXXX is reporting with the assistance of the third party debt collectors SEQUIUM without my permission, which is against the law. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( a ) ( 1 ) states, " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. '' 15 U.S. Code 1681e states, " Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. '' XXXX is not maintaining reasonable procedures and allowing SEQUIUM To fraudulently manipulate and report inaccuracies upon my consumer report. The worst part of all of this is that I never had nor implied any contract with SEQUIUM for them to have my personal information neither do I owe XXXX, the original creditor, any outstanding balances so where did SEQUIUM steal my information from is beyond me and I need to get to the bottom of it.

As this caused me great alarm, I looked into it and found that I had been sent to collections at Sequium Asset Solutions for a bill originating from XXXX XXXX XXXX for in arrears for approximately {$4000.00}.
I have never ( in my life ) had an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX and believe that this is fraudulent. I submitted a dispute with XXXX who stated that the disputed information was confirmed to be me ; I submitted a dispute with XXXX who deleted this fraud from my credit report. As of this note, I have submitted a fraud claim with XXXX XXXX XXXX and have not heard back from them.
