Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) On or about 11/14/2024, at building 2; second floor west stairway area of the site, Buffalo, NY. Three number 8 deformed rebars were not capped. Employees were exposed to impalement hazard by un-protected reinforcing steels in the stairway area. Rebars were approximately 4 inches in height. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
