29 CFR 1910.28(b)(15): The employer did not ensure each employee on a walking-working surface 4 feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling: a) Worksite, 77 Main St. Oyster Bay, NY- Two employees were observed working at the edge of a residential roof, approximately 20 feet above the ground below. The employees were not protected from falling, by guardrail systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems on; on or about 9/17/2022. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19. |
