The employer did not ensure that each employee has access to labels on containers of lead and safety data sheets, and is trained in accordance with the provisions of HCS and paragraph (l) of this section: a) On and before 4/30/2018, throughout 19 Grove St building, employees were exposed to lead while performing demolition activities including, but not limited to: manually removing lead-containing windows, which was covered in lead-containing paint chips, using crow bars, hammers, brooms, rakes, and shovels; and dry-sweeping lead-containing paint debris into a dumpster. The employer did not develop and implement a Hazard Communication Standard Program to include lead hazards. |
