HOWEVER, LESS THAN A YEAR INTO THE INITIATIVE COVID 19 BEGAN TO SPREAD AND WITHIN A FEW MONTHS WE SAW THE SAME DISPARATE IMPACTS ON BLACK, LATINX AND INDIGIOUNOUS COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THOSE WHO WERE ALREADY IMMUNE COMPROMISED SUCH AS INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH HIV AND THOSE WHO ARE CONSIDERED PRIORITY POPULATIONS FOR HIV PREVENTION, MEN WHO HAVE SEX WITH MEN, SEX WORKERS, INTRAVENOUS DRUG USERS, AND TRANSWOMEN. THE FACT THAT HIV IS STILL AN EPIDEMIC POINTS TO THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING AN UNDERSTANDING FOR SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH AND HOW FOCUSING ALL EFFORTS ON ONE SPHERE DOES NOT RESULT IN REDUCTION OF TRANSMISSION OR MITIGATION OF HARM. LET'S STOP HIV TOGETHER MATERIALS WILL BE UTILIZED TO INFORM OUR COMMUNITIES OF PREVENTION, TESTING AND LINKAGE TO CARE RESOURCES WHILE IN A SPACE OF CONNECTION TO ENSURE THAT INDIVIDUALS HAVE HOUSING, FOOD, CLEAN WATER, EMPLOYMENT AND ACCESS TO A COMMUNITY IN WHICH THEY ARE A MEMBER IN AN EFFORT TO REDUCE SOCIAL ISOLATION AND DEPRESSION. WE ARE CURRENTLY SUPPORTING 15 ORGANIZATIONS IN PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND CONTENT DISSEMINATION ACROSS 10 JURISDICTIONS.
