Complaint What Happened I'm looking for assistance. I've had this account for over a year with no problems, but in the last few months, this company 's activities have caused me some concern. My first concern is that I frequently lose access to my account via the app. I am unable to log in and access my information. I let it go for a month or so before trying again. I was able to log in, but it took me to a page where I had to re-verify my identity. This brings me to my second point of concern. On XX/XX/22, I received an email asking me to reverify my identification and decided to do so later through the app. On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened my grain app on my phone and followed the re-verification instructions, which required me to submit bank and ID information. I received notification that the information had been successfully submitted and that the process would take 5 business days. I haven't been able to access my account since XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted grain but have not received a response. I can't even check my status. There have been numerous complaints on the company 's XXXX page that other people are unable to access their accounts and have not received any responses from the company.

Complaint What Happened I have a credit account with Grain Credit. www.trygrain.com On XX/XX/2022 I tried to contact them to change my bank account on file to make a payment towards my credit with them. I was perfectly on time with the payment. I tried to call and email them with my request and marked it as urgent since I didnt want to be late on payments and get a negative impact on my credit report. They responded to me only on XX/XX/2022 with a regular automated answer and didnt help me with my payment. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and they have reported my 2 missed payments to all three credit bureaus. Im in trouble. I have emails and proofs that I tried to contact them and wanted to fix that issue before it happened. Now my credit history is not great anymore because of them. I need help. Theres no way to contact them. At all! Please help! I need the negative info to be removed from my credit reports and I want to pay off that balance with them.

Complaint What Happened So I wasnt even made aware by Grain Tech that my account was delinquent or past due. By the time that I was notified it was already reported to the credit bureaus. Since then grain has been misinforming inaccurate information as resulted decrease in credit score. They already had since withdrew funds from my external account that was used I order to received or removed from account. Since then a payment arrangement to pay off balance ( after waiting to hear back from Grain either via phone or via email ) as well as made just recently as well as a payment arrangement that has since been signed and accepted both myself and Grain Tech. Then report was made by Grain stating my is still delinquent by 60-70 days after was payment arranged.

Complaint What Happened I have already attempted to fix this issue with Grain via the XXXX. & now I'm about ready to get my attorney involved. However, before I do, this will be my last attempt at trying to amicably resolve their incorrect reporting to my consumer file as I've given them more chances than I should have now. I will also be resubmitting my complaint via the XXXX and attorney general. Companies can not believe they can get away with these atrocities. Grain has already agreed via a XXXX thread and via email directly that all late payments reported under their account on my credit file would be corrected to reflect on-time for every month they originally claimed I was late. This is because I was not only unable to access their online system in order to make my payments on-time, but I couldn't contact anyone at the company for MONTHS! Imagine calling a company every day for 2 weeks straight ( 14 days in a row with cell records and screenshots to prove it ) only to be on the Line for 25 minutes at a time before you get a voicemail? Imagine texting a business ( lol ) that has an actual text service that claimed someone would get back to me but never does. Obviously, I have retained all texts from this encounter. Then imagine not being able to actually pay the entity you borrowed from only for them to report you as late. What a joke. Grain has reassured me several times now ( I have reached out several times to ensure they keep their word on our agreement to remove the lates from my file ) that they would update my credit file. More than 1 month later, it remains unchanged. I will still consider continuing to pursue legal action even after this is resolved because companies like this can't think they can get away with this. I warned Grain that I would be reporting them to several different entities if my credit file wasn't updated in accordance with what was agreed upon. This was a few weeks ago. Although they have been a lot more responsive via email, it's a shame that it took me reporting them to illicit appropriate responses.

Complaint What Happened In XXXX they disconnected the services. I did not know until I received a late payment for the first time with this XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I sent numerous emails to fix this problem there has been no feedback just automated responses to me. They finally let me back into the account in XXXX. Complaint What Happened I am writing to file a formal complaint against Grain regarding inaccurate information that has been reported to the credit bureaus, causing significant damage to my credit history. Despite my repeated attempts to rectify the situation, Grain has failed to address the errors and has not taken appropriate action to correct my credit report. The issues I have encountered with Grain began when their mobile application prevented me from logging in, leading to the reporting of late payments. Despite my persistent efforts to contact Grain and resolve the matter, I was unable to reach anyone for assistance. It took over four months before I was provided with a link to make a payment, only to discover that my XXXX debit card was not accepted. Consequently, I had to rely on my daughter to make the payment for the amount Grain claimed I owed. To my dismay, Grain unexpectedly refunded the payment made by my daughter, stating it was an error on their part. I have sent multiple letters to dispute the late marks on my credit, but each time Grain has verified them without making any corrections to their errors. I have included the email correspondence between myself and Grain as evidence, which clearly demonstrates the prolonged response times and Grain 's failure to address the inaccuracies in their reporting. I firmly believe that Grain 's inaccurate reporting and their subsequent failure to rectify the situation have significantly impacted my credit history. As a responsible consumer, I have always been committed to maintaining a positive credit record, and Grain 's actions have unjustly tarnished my financial standing.

Complaint What Happened On XX/XX/XXXX Grain Technology changed the setting to my account to auto payment. I noticed because I signed into my Grain account to make a payment and ad soon I went to make a payment I got an email that sis thank you for submitting your payment of {$110.00}. I never even made the payment because I got the email before I could move forward and was confused. Upon checking I saw my account my on auto payment. I then took it off and notified Grain that I never made that change to my account. About a week or so went by and no response from them. I eventually went to check my XXXX account again and saw that my account was back on auto pay. I then again took it off. Auto pay is something Ive never set up so Im more than certain that Grain technology is doing that.

Complaint What Happened In XXXX, I was going through my XXXX credit report and noticed that Grain Technology had not reported my account statement since XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent them a message asking about whats going on with the lack of reporting with screenshots from XXXX that show the most recent report being in XXXX. They didnt respond until XX/XX/XXXX, I also tried calling them in that time but no representative answered, with some generic answer about escalating it to the credit reporting team. I tried to follow up with them, and on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a message that XXXX did not update our XXXX and XXXX credit reporting and that they have resubmitted the reports. Since then, my XXXX statement date of XX/XX/XXXX has passed and the only change is reporting has been updated to XXXX ... still three months behind. Grains reporting is also one month behind for XXXX and XXXX. Ive opened disputes for those, since contacting the company directly has been ineffective ; its a terrible product with even worse support and services.

Complaint What Happened Hello, Good Afternoon, When reviewing my credit report, I saw that an installment loan was Opened up in my name XXXX XXXX. I then decided to call the company GRAIN TECHNOLOGY , Inc To get this taken care of because I have been a victim of identity theft. Before I could state the case, the guy on the phone accused me of opening the account because payments were made to the account. I was explaining to the guy that wasn't by me, and I didn't authorize anything. I then provided him with a police report by the XXXXXXXX XXXX, an ID theft Affidavit, proof of identity, an FTC report, and a dispute letter to the company. I sent all the documents to fraud department email. He then proceeded to send me an agreement that I didn't authorize, then after all the documents I provided, he said that the account belonged to me.

Grain sends an email ( attached ) stating that Auto-Pay is set up & they will take care of the rest. Complaint What Happened I have been unable to access my grain technology account for about 6 weeks or so. grain technology is a digital credit card that works with your current bank account. the issue started on XX/XX/XXXX after calling and not being able to get in touch with anyone. I sent my first e-mail on XX/XX/XXXX to grain support I've attempted to call several times to speak to someone about me being locked out of my grain account. I've left messages detailing the urgency of someone getting back to me. I've emailed periodically detailing that I am in the process of buying a house and wanted to pay my bill in full fearing that my credit utilization would get too high and hurt my credit score. all I keep getting is an automated email saying someone will contact me in 2 days and grain never does. still not have been able to speak to someone from grain.

Complaint What Happened I've emailed the company numerous times about a glitch in the system that wasn't able to verify my identity. I've had this account for over a year there shouldn't even be anything wrong with this account considering verifying identity, as a result they are intentionally causing a derogatory mark on my credit by not responding to any messages for me to even pay off this account.

Complaint What Happened I've been working with Grain Technologies they offered me a {$750.00} credit line, at first it was fine. Then when COVID hit I tried to get support which is non-existent. They disabled my online portal, and will not allow me to make payments, or allow me to verify my identity to pay the account. After speaking with a rep they said my online account was disabled because of the past due balance and once it's paid I can continue using the account. After I paid someone contacted me and said they decided to close my account once I pay it in full. I think I was deceived into making a payment, and once it was processed they decided to close my account once it's paid in full with no notice or explanation and they won't allow me to verify my identity.

It has come to my attention that your institution, Grain Technology, has reported my information to third parties without providing me with the required disclosures, as mandated by Federal Law. As per 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information, financial institutions such as yours are required by law to give customers three disclosures, including an opt-out notice. Upon careful review of all documents provided by your institution to me, I have found that none of these documents contained any of the required disclosures under 15 USC 6802 ( b ). Accordingly, I am hereby requesting that you provide me with all the above-required disclosures as per Federal Law.
