All our instructional practices will be guided by the NYS common core standards which are designed to facilitate the gain of skills and knowledge that align with the Standards, and are developmentally appropriate, and which separate instructional practices based on the age and needs of the children. We believe by utilizing the play-based curriculum In conjunction with theme-based instructional Interventions we will make our classrooms and their activities more interesting to children, and this practice will assist them to build on previous experiences and make connections in their learning in an enjoyable way, as well as set the foundation for a life long love of learning. |
