A company called XXXX XXXX offered me a great deal on installing solar panels. They said the first year, I would pay nothing. Also, they said they would manage the project for 25 years. So, if there are any problems, they will fix it for free. The installation was never completed and never operated. They linked me to a bank called Mosaic, which should finance the project. Now, the bank is asking me to pay monthly loans of {$180.00} for 25 years, for a total loan of {$28000.00}. However, XXXX XXXX gave me a fake address and phone number. I don't know where to find them.

I have had Mosaic as my lender since XXXX for my solar array attached to my house in XXXX XXXXXXXX, CO. I am currently in the process of selling the home, as a result of a lawsuit, and require the loan to be paid or refinanced by the purchasing party. I have contact Mosaic on numerous occasions. Just recently I spoke with 2 people and had two different email exchanges on XX/XX/XXXX. Now I have just spoke with another representative today XX/XX/XXXX after getting an email yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) asking for information about the buyout, of which I do not have. Now, evening on XX/XX/XXXX they are asking me to fill out an online form for the requested information I have already sent them twice. It is also information that they need to get from the purchaser, not me.
On all three occasions they have all told me the same thing. You simply need to authorize the purchaser and they can do all the work. Each and every time they come back to me for more information that I do not have. Moreover, their cookie cutter emails have contact information that is no longer working and I get an automated response about when I follow their instructions.
Closing for this house supposed to be Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX and we continue to be delayed by Mosaic, who can not keep track of my loan or the purchaser or the information I have already provided them with. It has delayed the closing the cost me more attorney fees.
Furthermore, they locked me out of my online account since I am not going to be paying the loan any longer, I have request a copy of my original loan agreement TWICE and they still have not sent it to me.

The company agrees that the account type should be reported as a portfolio type = installment I and account type 9A secured home improvement. Further, the XXXX account does not constitute a lien on real property, this information can be found on section 7 of the loan agreement. The loan is secured by secured by a lien only on the Solar equipment itself we do not file a lien against the home.

A sales rep by the name of XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) came to my home he explained what was supposed to happen if I decided to get the solar panels. The sales rep broke down every thing that was going to be done. He looked at my roof and told me that the roof is sinking and I told him that the beams were splitting and he said that they were going to replace the beams and redo the roof so it can support the panels if I decided to go with them. I video taped the sales rep while he was in my home explaining what they were going to do to the roof if I decided to sign the contract. He then asked for my social security number stating that he was going to see if I pre-qualified for the financing and give me an idea of roughly how much my monthly bill would be, which he stated was going to be about {$160.00} a month. Keep in mind I video taped the conversation and my son was also on the phone while the sales rep was explaining the process. About 2 weeks later I woke up to noise on my roof and when I went outside to see what was going on I noticed that they were working on the roof. I asked what they were doing and they said they were replacing the roof and putting up the solar panels. I immediately called the company to complain because I didn't sign a contract. I also went into the attic to see what they were doing and I noticed that not only were they putting on the solar panels while replacing the roof but that they didn't even change the beams like the sales rep said they were going to do. I kicked them off of my roof. While on the phone with the company they said they were cancelling the contact and I asked " what contract? I didn't sign a contract I was only supposed to know the cost if I qualified for the financing. '' I received an email stating that the contract was cancelled soon after. A week or so later I received a bill for {$7800.00} and a monthly bill for almost {$600.00} a month.
I am a XXXX citizen and am on a fixed income and by no means can afford a monthly bill of {$600.00} for anything. The whole reason for me inquiring about the solar panels was to reduce my bill not increase it by over {$400.00}. I feel that they scammed me and signed me up for something I absolutely didn't sign up for. I am prepared to go to court and fight this as I have all of the emails stating that the supposed contract was cancelled. What type of solar panels cost XXXX dollars?!?! My roof is now sinking in because of this due to the weight of the solar panels because my beams would have needed to be replace before anything went on my roof.
