Complaint What Happened I had a XXXX Advancement Payment program with Lendtable with totaled to be {$860.00} On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I reached payment plan with the company that would be a Duration of 3 months with the amount being XXXX with the Initial Payment being made on XX/XX/XXXX and Final Payment being Made on XX/XX/XXXX. These automatic payments were agreed to be taken out of my debit card. Unfortunately after the XXXX payment was drafted out, Lendtable was not able to take out the payment for XXXX, we then rescheduled the payment for XXXX and the same issue occurred ( im assuming due to holidays ). I then contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to an Agent named XXXX if I can reschedule the remaining two payments to be drafted on XX/XX/XXXX with the final payment being drafted on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX then counter offered and stated that Lendtable would only accept payment being drafted on XX/XX/XXXX and then the final payment being scheduled for XXXX. I agreed and provided the same card used prior for drafting. On XX/XX/XXXX Lendtable sent me a threatening email stating that I must pay my overdue balance to prevent any negative action. I then responded to the email asking for confirmation of the agreement created with the Agent XXXX for payment to be drafted on XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX Another agent stated that I had a past due amount ( The amount discussed prior to making an agreement with XXXX ) and that I must provide the last 4 digits of my card to process the payment promptly. I then responded to that agent to check their email correspondence as I had made a payment agreement with XXXX not to long before. I even mentioned that it appears that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I then sent the Agent an email screenshot of the conversation with the Agent XXXX for further understanding of my situation. This was done on XXXX. On XXXX the same Agent XXXX returned to the email chain that I had with the other agent ( Name was not provided ) to state that I must contact the payment team yet again to go over options. I then responded that this is highly confusing and wanted to know if the payment agreement that was made a few days ago still stood or was it changed. I did not get a response back concerning my question. On XXXX Lendtable sent another threatening email stating that my balance is one week overdue and that they tried to reach out to me numerous times about my overdue balance and that a collections agency is now attempting to collect this debt of XXXX. I then responded to the email by stating to please refer to the agreement put in place by XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I was contacted by XXXX from Lendtable Support Team. He apologized for the confusion on their end and wanted to schedule the remaining payments from XX/XX/XXXX to clear my balance. ( Payment that was agreed for on XX/XX/XXXX was never processed by the Agent XXXX ) I responded to XXXX that I would like the 2 remaining payments to be processed using the card on file and I made him aware that I was harrassed with threats of collections and credit score impacts despite the fact that I physically shown the payment agreement made with the Agent XXXX. He responded back with an apology for my experience and agreed to schedule the payments for XX/XX/XXXX and the final payment being done for XX/XX/XXXXXXXX from the card on file. I thanked him and stated it was much appreciated On XX/XX/XXXX Lendtable then sent me another threatening email stating that this is my Final Chance to " pay my balance before your delinquent account may be reported to the credit bureaus ''. I then responded to them by stating that this is utterly wrong and unfair since I have now made an agreement with XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX and the final payment being on XX/XX/XXXX. I then asked why am I being constantly threatened and harassed and that this a violation of my rights and fair business practices. I also stated that departments need to communicate with one another as this is not the 1st time this has occurred. On XX/XX/XXXX an Agent name XXXX contacted me apologizing and stated that I would not be receiving this type of contact in the future and to await an update concerning my account. I then told XXXX to please consult with XXXX as there is an agreement in place and that previously i made one with the Agent named XXXX that was not honored on Lentable 's part. That same Day XXXX, reached back to me to state that there is nothing to worry about and that the payment agreement is still in place. On XX/XX/XXXX to ensure the payment went thru, I emailed XXXX and requested that the payment be immediately processed as to avoid the events that happened on XX/XX/XXXX. Shortly after that email I received another email. This time by Legal Counsel XXXX XXXX stating that my account has been transferred to the Legal department and that the following impacts may occur : Collections, Negative credit reporting and small claims courts if I do not make a full payment of {$570.00}. I did not respond, instead i simply forwarded the email agreement made with XXXX. XXXX then sent an email needing confirmation of the payment in which I replied " I authorize this payment '' for the payment of {$280.00}. I realized the payment was not processed yet and I reached back to XXXX to find out what was the hold up. At XXXX that day, XXXX replied stating that the amount quoted by Lendtable was wrong and it was actually {$430.00} remaining that was owed and not the {$570.00} that was being requested. He then modified the new payments of {$210.00} for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in which i stated that I authorize. Then the payment for XX/XX/XXXX was finally processed with a confirmation receipt. On XX/XX/XXXX the Legal Counsel team ( XXXX XXXX then sent yet another email threatening more impacts for the remaining balance of {$210.00} that XXXX just agreed that will be processed on XX/XX/XXXX. I then responded to XXXX stating that this was the final straw and that a payment was scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX to finish my balance. I explained that i am tired of the harassments and threats that lendtable has been making despite me showing proof of payment agreements on numerous occasions in which the company itself failed to honor in processing. I then today, XX/XX/XXXX decided to clear the account myself by making a manual payment and proceeding here to file this complaint. Lendtable has violated my rights as a consumer on numerous occasions and they need to be held accountable for it.
