Citation text line 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems: a) Syracuse Roofing dba Syracuse Fascia Construction Inc., at the Butler - Badman Funeral Home, 4504 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13212. On the roof, on or about August 24, 2023, employees were performing reroofing activities while exposed to fall hazards of 10 feet eave to ground while on a greater than 4:12 sloped roof. The employer did not ensure that each worker was protected from fall hazards while reroofing.
