29 CFR 1926.452(y)(3):Surfaces on which stilts are used were not flat and free of pits, holes and obstructions, such as debris, as well as other tripping and falling hazards: a) On or about 3/23/2023 at a commercial construction project located at 1100 Michigan Avenue, Buffalo, New York; employees installing drywall were placing ceiling and upper wall sections using stilts. The floors in the work area were covered with drywall scraps and cut-offs creating tripping hazards. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED |
