The original CFPB complaint, Case # XXXX, was closed without adequately ensuring that Kikoffs response complied with all relevant laws under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Despite disputing the inaccurate and inconsistent reporting of my account, Kikoffs response failed to address the core concerns and did not provide sufficient evidence of a proper investigation, as required by FCRA 1681s-2 ( b ). Their lack of transparency, coupled with their inability to explain discrepancies in reporting across all three credit bureaus, raises serious concerns about their compliance with federal regulations. This inadequate resolution by the CFPB demonstrates a failure to hold Kikoff accountable and to protect consumers rights.

Kikoff.com have been sending me account payments due when I do not have an account made with them and then they would send me email to create an account afterwards for instance they said I have a payment due by XX/XX/XXXX, which was sent to me on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and then a few minutes later another email from them said to create a password. with them. I cant get access to the amounts because I never created an account with them in the first place. I just keep getting emails stating I owe a payment by a certain day I contacted them to let them know and I got a reply that they have sent my case to the internal fraud team. I just need an FTC report to attach to the report as information.

Hello, I made a {$800.00} ACH withdrawal from my KIKOFF checking account to mXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account on XXXX It stated initially that the transfer would take up to 5 business days. On XX/XX/, I receive an email from KIKOFF stating they have been having issues and delays with ACH transfer requests. I immediately emailed customer support to receive an update on this issue.On XX/XX/, I call customer support, who informs me that the transfer has been canceled. I ask where my funds are and I do no receive an answer. I am told I would receive an email in 1 business day. On XXXX, I do not receive an email as told, so I call again. They again state the transfer was cancelled and that they will follow up with email. I asked numerous times to be transferred to a supervisor and the customer rep says there is no supervisor. On XXXX, I receive an email stating Thank you for getting back to me. Upon review, I can see that the {$800.00} is available now on your secured card. We are terribly sorry that this event occurred and are diligently working with our partner processor to understand the root cause. In the meantime, we are prioritizing processing the delayed ACH transfers. However, the money is still not in my account. I call customer service who again says that the transfer was canceled. After asking numerous times again to be transferred, I am transferred to an automatic message that states there is no supervisor available and the phone call ends. I call again, this time finally transferred to a supervisor who does not know anything about the situation, and says that the email I received is false. They still have no idea where my money is, and after asking them to credit my account while they investigate, they refuse.

I am a victim of identity theft. On XX/XX/2020 an account by XXXX XXXX XXXX was put on my report that is not mine. I contacted XXXX to take it down immediately because I filed an FTC report. For one month XXXX has knowingly had a fraudulent account on my report. This violates the law and is a inhuman act that can not be tolerated.
My family I are looking to purchase a house and we may left homeless because of this account. This is immoral in my opinion. This account must be removed immediately. I have contacted the creditor Kikoff lending llc and haven't gotten any response so I am not sure how XXXX got one and if they did how they validated something that isn't mine I am attaching an FTC report. XXXX has violated human rights. Please remove this account you are hurting my family this is again the law according to the FCRA I do not want to take this into legal matters. I do not need another investigation on an account that it is wrong.

Upon reviewing your response and documentation, it is clear that your validation and investigation remain inadequate and fail to meet the standards required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).
Concerns Regarding Your Response and Documentation Failure to Provide Full Validation : The payment history document you provided does not include transactional records showing due dates, actual payment dates, or evidence that payments exceeded the 30-day delinquency threshold before being reported.
Without such evidence, the late payments you reported remain unverifiable and inaccurate.
